The TonKraf Phoenix has made quite a splash in the world of boutique tone machines. It’s extremely touch-sensitive and responsive circuit enhances ever tiny nuance of the player’s style and instrument.
We created a plug-in that can be loaded into your favorite DAW at a much lower price point than the physical amplifier. We worked diligently to capture the true response and tone of the circuit, along with correct performance of the controls of the amplifier. It’s as close to the real thing as digitally possible. Every pluck, crunch, and ring have been captured to give the player a sound that can be felt as much as heard.
It's built on NAM A2 architecture, available on MacOS and Windows today, with an iPad companion app for live use coming soon.
